bordermedia began with a late-night encounter in a place called Kung's in Mae Sot, Thailand. Both the individuals in the encounter had many years' experience working as IT professionals in Australia and the UK, and both were volunteering for various organisations on the border.

Having spent a while around the Thailand / Burma border area in 2005 & 2006, helping various organisations out, both realised that there was a huge need for skilled IT professionals in the area to help with everything from project scoping & planning, to designing and developing websites, and computer training.

our skills & experience

One director holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (Computing), MACS. With professional membership of the Australian Computer Society, he has over 10 years' of corporate experience in the engineering, manufacturing, IT services and financial sectors. Having had many years' experience in IT Management for a number of large organisations in Australia, he has advanced skills in web development, network integration, IT training, IT consulting and project management.

The other director holds a Bachelor of Science (Anthropology), and an NVQ from the UK in Web Technologies. With 5 years' experience working in London as a web developer on large corporate websites for companies such as the London Stock Exchange, Honda, and British Gas, and two years experience working in Sydney, Australia as a project manager & developer, he has advanced skills in web development, database design and development, & project management.
