computer training

We have found there is a huge need for computer training on the Thailand/Burma border. More often that not individuals & organisations are more interested in being trained in the more 'basic' computer programs like Microsoft Word, Outlook and general internet usage. Sometimes we have been asked to work with the more complex packages like Dreamweaver and Photoshop.

Whatever your need, bordermedia can put together bespoke courses to fulfil it, for individuals or groups. As we start to take on some larger projects, we would be interested in taking in local interns with a view to developing their skills over a longer period of time, and exposing them to real-life projects, as we feel this is by far the best way for people to prepare for a professional career in the IT industry.

Between October and December 2006, bordermedia facilitated a series of courses covering Basic Computer Maintenance and Security for the organisation VSO. These courses took place in Mae Sot, Mae Hong Son, and Chiang Mai. [read more]
